1. Fire Retardant & Washable - Polar Fleece Sleeping Bag
2. Emergency Space Blanket
700 people experiencing or at-risk of homelessness are killed from hypothermia annually in the United States (NCH 2010).
As a homeless charity we saw the need to help the homeless by developing suitable bedding - to be distributed to homeless people via our homeless agency partners.
Our Hypothermia Pack is a survival kit for homeless people that need warmth to save their life and stop illness.
Hypothermia can occur at any time of the year - often people may not have adequate clothing / bedding when on the street in summer when there is a sudden weather change.
Fire Retardant Polar Fleece Sleeping Bag
A super warm and comfortable sleeping bag that can also be zipped flat as a blanket.

Emergency Space Blanket
A Hypothermia Blanket that can quickly bring up core body temperature to stop hypothermia.

How does it compare to other donated bedding?
Sadly, when the public drops off bedding to homeless agencies they do not realise that what they are giving is often not appropriate for outdoor use - this results in bedding quickly discarded and wasted.
Imagine trying to keep a white doona or duvet clean from dirt on the streets? It's undignified and is:
- Not easy to keep clean
- If they get wet they take days to dry (impossible on the street).
- Wet blankets & bedding does not protect from hypothermia or frostbite.
- Quickly discarded (due to all of the above) which can create further problems with local city councils.
Super warm
Backpack Bed + Fire Retardant Sleeping Bag

Combining our Fire Retardant Sleeping Bag with a Backpack Bed emergency bed provides warmth to -4 degrees celsius (EN 13537 independent lab test).
