How our program works
Donations & Fundraising
The public and corporates can make a tax deductible donation to cover the cost of a Backpack Bed - or hold a fundraiser to get everyone involved.
Backpack Beds
Distribute via Agencies
Crisis accommodation, outreach workers, primary health providers, mental health facilities, drop in centres , counselling services and other agencies providing services to street sleeping homeless.
Homeless Identified
The first option is always to find housing - but when none can be found, a dignified life saving Backpack Bed is provided to people on our streets.
Measure Impact
Every Backpack Bed distributed needs our Backpack Bed Program survey filled in to measure impact.
