In 2022-23 over 108,000 requests for accommodation from homeless people across Australia could not be met (AIHW 2023).

13,890 people will sleep rough on the street across Western Australia this year (ABS 2021).

up to 21% of homeless Aussies sleeping on the streets have suffered cold/wet illnesses hypothermia, frostbite or trench foot (MS2H 2011).
